The main stack has an open access systems which enables the students to browse the books themselves quickly. The resources include collections of books, journals, magazines, newspaper & journal archive, videos, CDs, Transparencies, etc.
This collection includes encyclopedias, general dictionaries and subject dictionaries, and other related reference books. All reference books are meant for reading inside the library and hence cannot be borrowed from the library.

The library also houses a collection of materials about Sultanate of Oman. This includes various ministry publications, books written by and about Omani people, and other related materials.
There is a good collection of books in Arabic dealing with various subjects like Computer Science, Economics, Psychology, Education, Health Science, Islamic Studies, Accounting, Business and Management. Most of these books are highly useful in understanding the core subjects in the regional language.
This section contains many materials like CDs, Floppies, Videos, Audios, Kits, Transparencies, etc. They deal with the core-subjects and help to support the curriculum subjects. These items are allowed to borrow for short periods.
The library subscribes to nine newspapers, 12 magazines many other periodicals. This section is being elaborated by adding new periodical publications. Back issues of periodicals can be borrowed from the library.
